Dear OLLCS Community,

                Respectful and cordial greetings.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School has been progressively monitoring the development and recent announcements as regards the spread of COVID-19. The school also implements preventive measures to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all the members of the school community such as but not limited to the disinfection of the school premises. In light of the suspension of classes from March 10-14 (Tuesday – Saturday), the following precautionary measures have been agreed upon and will be implemented.

1. Suspension of Catholic Formation and Co-curricular Activities:

                a. Retreat of Grade 6 Learners

                b. Retreat of Grade 10 Learners

                c. Graduation Ball of Grade 12 Learners

                d. Lourdesians Got Talent Grand Finals (LGT)

                e. Parent-Teacher Conference for Pre-school Teachers

2. Periodic Examinations will still be observed as scheduled.

3. Learning Management System from Pre-school to Senior High School Levels (Will be available March 13, Thursday)

Access the following file through the OLLCS Website - ollcs.edu.ph, OLLCS FB Page - www.facebook.com/OLLCS2000, Schoology Account (JHS-SHS Learners only) and Class Group Chat through Messenger:

                a. Schedule of Periodic Examinations

                b. Pointers to Review for all subjects

                c. Reviewers (ONLY for subjects with remaining lessons)

4. Rescheduling of Practices and preparation for tasks and practical tests and other related requirements (e.g.Research, Stage Play, Dance Performances)

5. For Elementary level, books and other study materials are placed in the Cabinets of the Lost & Found Area. High School Learners may also drop by the campus to secure and get their study materials from the lockers.

The school will continuously update the community through advisories based from official statements from national and local government units.

We urge the community to keep safe and be informed of the latest updates about the said issue. We are strongly discouraging our learners from visiting crowded places and at the same time to take the necessary preventive measures against COVID-19 such as proper washing of hands, staying indoors and taking vitamins and water to strengthen immune system.

Finally, let us continue to pray as one community that the spread of this virus will soon be resolved.
